Hi there, Alla! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so glad you asked this question because I am delighted to tell you that there are lots of things you can do with your 6-month old at the Disneyland Resort! To start, there are
over 40 attractions that do not have any height requirements which means even the smallest Guests can ride. Your whole family will have a blast riding Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, “it’s a small world,” and many more. In addition to attractions, there are shows and parades that your little one might enjoy. Mickey and the Magical Map features many songs and characters from your favorite Disney movies, and the Pixar Play Parade is a super fun parade that marches down Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park.
If you would like to ride some of the bigger thrill attractions and you’ll be traveling with at least one other adult, you can take advantage of
Rider Switch. This will let one adult wait outside the attraction with the baby while the other part of the group rides. Once the first group is done riding, the adult waiting with the baby switches places and can then ride the attraction with minimal waiting.
Finally, be sure to visit the
Baby Care Centers. These centers have large, cushy changing tables, rocking chairs, and high chairs. They also sell baby essentials and over-the-counter medication if you happen to run out of anything while you are at the parks.
I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of magic and memories!
