Hi I am planing our 1st WDW vacation for when my husband comes back from deployment it is a family vacation but yet me and my husband will want to go out at least once alone where can I find child care if hotel or resort does not offer it ? Thank you

    Hello Angi,

First, let me thank you and your husband for your service to our country! Not only must you be counting down the days until his arrival, but you can also be excited for your trip to Disney World! Fantastic!

Disney has Children's Activity Centers located at several resorts, including the Never Land Club at the Polynesian and Cub's Den at Wilderness Lodge. You do not have to be a Guest at these Resorts to use its services. So if you happen to be having dinner at Kona Cafe at the Poly, this is a a good option. At last check, the cost per child is $11.50 an hour, with a two hour minimum. Reservations are recommended for all locations. To secure a spot, call 407-WDW-DINE.

If you'd rather have the kids tucked in bed when you return, Kid's Nite Out brings in-room babysitting to your Resort. Kid's Nite Out is an independent childcare provider and available 24 hours a day. So they go to you and your room. I've never used their services but have only heard good things about them. To contact Kid's Nite Out, call 407-828-0920.

Hope this helps. Enjoy date night with your husband!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
