We are planing to visit wilderness ledge on the 20th of November. Wanted to know if the decoration for Christmas would be up by then? Including the big tree.

Merry Christmas, Adam! It sounds like you get just as excited as I do to see the Walt Disney World Resort hotels decorated for the holiday season! The Christmas tree at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is certainly one of the most beautiful at the Walt Disney World Resort!

The Walt Disney World Resort hotels begin decorating at the beginning of November with most hotels decorated by mid-November. Most of the resorts are usually decorated in time for Thanksgiving which falls a little later this year. While I can’t guarantee it, I think it is likely that you’ll see that beautiful tree towering through the resort by November 20, 2024.

Adam, if the tree isn’t up in time for your visit, you are welcome to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels to see their trees and decorations. A holiday tour of the Walt Disney World Resort hotel Christmas trees and decorations is enough to get even Uncle Scrooge McDuck in the holiday spirit!

You might also want to visit the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll! Here you will find trees themed to Disney movies, characters, attractions, and more! Dates should be announced soon, but this festive tradition is likely to occur during the time of your planned visit! Guests can usually pick up a guide to help locate and keep track of the trees throughout Disney Springs!

Adam, if you’re as big a fan as I am of Christmas decorations and Disney, then you might want to experience the best of both with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! This special ticketed event is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park! The event begins at 7:00 PM and lasts through midnight! However, ticketholders can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM for some extra hours of rides, entertainment, and dining! With a parade featuring a visit from St. Nick himself and snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A. this is a holiday event not to be missed! There are special character meet-and-greets, complimentary cookies and beverages, and a park full of Christmas decorations from the moment you arrive!

    Dreams do come true!
