Hey There, Vishal!
Welcome to planDisney. Can you believe that you're only two weeks away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort? These last few days are going to fly by! I'm glad you stopped by with this question –– since you won't be able to enter Walt Disney World theme parks without Disney Park Pass reservations, you'll want to finalize them as soon as possible. Let me share a few details about using the
Disney Park Pass system and walk you through the process of making reservations for your upcoming visit.
First, I'm happy to report that all four Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as
Typhoon Lagoon water park and
Disney Springs, will be open during your visit. However, to visit each of those theme parks, you'll need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation for that day, in addition to your park ticket. Since you're visiting during a
very busy time, I suggest making those reservations ASAP –– there have been several days lately where Disney Park Pass reservations have completely filled up and I'd hate for you to miss out on visiting one of the parks during your stay.
I think the easiest way to make Disney Park Pass reservations is by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Here's what you'll need to do:
1. Open the My Disney Experience app and sign in using your Disney Account credentials.
2. Tap the "+" at the bottom of the screen select "Make a Park Reservation" from the pop-up menu.
3. On the next screen, select the blue "Theme Park Tickets" button (you can also view current availability from this screen, as well).
4. Select your traveling party and tap "Continue".
5. Pick your date from the calendar and select the park you plan to visit that day.
6. If you need to purchase or link tickets, you'll be able to do that from this screen. If your admission is already purchased and linked, tap "Continue".
7. Select "Book Park Reservation" OR if you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, select "Book Park Reservation for Hotel Guest" (this is a special pool of theme park reservations for Resort Guests and may have more availability).
8. Accept the terms and conditions and tap "Continue".
And that's it! You'll be ready to hit experience all the magic of
The World's Most Magical Celebration as soon as you and your family arrive. Also, if one of the parks is unavailable when you make reservations, be sure to keep checking back –– availability can change at any time and you might find that something opens up before your visit.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Vishal. If you think of more Walt Disney World planning questions, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always here to help!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
