I was planing on upgrading my Disneyland Annual Pass to the Disney Premier Passport but now I don't know how much the upgrade will cost. Will I get a credit of $499 or $649 toward the upgrade for my Disney Premier Passport?I paid $499 for my DL pass.

    Hi Christy!

This is a great question and doing this will allow you to visit both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.  It is a good value if you have the opportunity to visit both resorts.  I have had a Disney Premier Passport since it has first come out and I love it.

Since you currently hold an Annual Pass you’ll be eligible to upgrade to the Premier Passport. You’ll pay the difference between the current retail price of your existing pass and the Premier Passport price. Expiration date will remain the same as the initial annual pass. Also, upgrades can be done at Guest Relations at either resort.  So you can wait until you arrive at Walt Disney World to actually do it.

Enjoy planning your next magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
