I am planing a trip to WDW Nov.20 to Nov 27. (the week of Thanksgiving. I would like to stay at one of the deluxe resorts, which one would you recommend ? Also, will WDW be decorated for Chirstmas that week? Thanks

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite weeks to visit Walt Disney World as the crowds can generally be manageable and the Christmas holiday spirit has awakened through-out the property!  Years ago you could wake up the day after Thanksgiving to see all the decorations that appeared like magic.  Now Disney is starting the decorating much earlier and you don't have to wait.  The special holiday events like the Candlelight Procession begins that weekend and the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts now mid November.

Our family loves the Yacht and Beach Club resort for their stay at Disney. We love that it is only a five minute walk to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT and then also just a short boat ride or a relaxing mile walk to the Hollywood Studios.  Having easy and close access to two of the four theme parks is important for us.  We also enjoy the fun over in the Boardwalk area and the close proximity to Downtown Disney.

If you think you will be spending more of your days in the Magic Kingdom then I would suggest you try either the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian resorts that sit on the monorail and close to this park.
