Greetings, Heather!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you stopped by with an excellent planning question. It looks like you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during this summer of celebration! The
World’s Most Magical Celebration is in full swing with many new experiences and attractions created just for the events.
My favorite display is
Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. You will find 50 golden sculptures on display in all 4 theme parks. Later this year, the new MagicBand+ will allow you to interact with them during your photo op.
The
Park Hopper Option gives you the freedom to experience more than one park per day. If you would like to upgrade your current tickets to include the Park Hopper Option, you are more than welcome to do so. Unfortunately, on a multi-day theme park ticket, you have to upgrade all your tickets to include the Park Hopper. The upgrade fee is calculated per day, per person, and per ticket.
If your budget allows, you can upgrade your tickets right in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Begin by opening the app and tap the more icon [3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner] and tap the
Tickets and Passes button. Tap the first ticket you would like to upgrade and then select
Change Ticket. Follow the prompts to upgrade this ticket with the
Park Hopper Option. Make sure you complete this process for the tickets assigned to each Guest in your group. If you already have made your Park Pass reservations, you will not need to reserve the second park you plan to hop to after 2:00 PM each day.
If you run into any issues upgrading your tickets, you may need to reach out to a
Cast Member by calling (407) 934-7639. They will be able to assist you with your upgrade. They are the true Fairy Godmothers, but they are spreading magic to those who need their help, so I recommend calling at 7:00 AM when the phone lines open.
I hope this helps with your decision to add a park hopper. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please do not hesitate to come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
