Planing my trip to Disney world, I heard that there might be a cars land coming to Florida is that true?

    Hi Jillen,

I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many exciting things coming to the theme parks in 2019 and I can't wait to experience them all. In fact, we just got some additional details about new experiences we will be able to enjoy next year at D23 Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse and it sounds like 2019 is getting ready to be a year filled with Disney magic!

Unfortunately, we haven't had any announcements that Cars Land is headed to Walt Disney World Resort. I just got to experience this incredible area of Disney's California Adventure this past spring and it was so amazing! The theming is perfect and it makes you feel complete immersed. In my opinion, Cars Land is well worth a visit to Disneyland Resort to experience this amazing land!

While Cars Land isn't available at Walt Disney World Resort, there is a new offering headed for fans of Lightning McQueen and his crew. Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy will be opening in early 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In this new attraction, Guests will be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art racing simulator with Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and the gang. And after the attraction, you will even be able to meet Cruz Ramirez and take pictures with her just outside of the Academy!

Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for information about the opening of Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy, as well as other new attractions and dining experiences you will be able to enjoy during your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
