Hi I am planing a trip to Disney early next year with my 5 yr old son It will just be the 2 of us and I know from other trips Ive planned many things are price based on a family of 4 OR 2 adults and 1 child Am I going to have to pay extra becuse of this?

    Hi Tammy,

I am a single mom and travel most of the time alone with my daughter as well and when you book your WDW vacation, you will basically pay the full price based on double occupancy for the hotel and then you will be able to pay the child price for his Park tickets (a child at WDW is from the age of 3-9).  If they have an offer such as children stay and play free, you would not be able to take advantage as it is based on double occupancy (2 adults) and your son would be the extra adult and not really count as the child but for your general booking of a resort and park tickets, etc... with no special offers involved, you will not really be out any extra money for your WDW trip as your son is treated as the double occupancy part of the equation. Hope this helps!

    Best wishes,
