    I am planing a trip in 12 days to Disneyland and DCA. My question is, am I allowed to bring my ZHIYUN Smooth 5 Gimbal to the parks? It does not extend, just want to make sure before our trip. Thank you

    My wife loves taking pictures at the Disneyland Resort, and who can blame her? Some of our favorite family pictures are from The Happiest Place on Earth! While selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices) are on the list of non-permittable items at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, I have good news! Gimbal stabilizers are allowed if they do not extend. If they do extend, then they could fall under the category of "hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices" and could potentially not be allowed in the parks. Since your specific Gimbal does not extend, you should be good to go!

    And you chose a great time to visit! It's Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and will last through October 31, 2022. There will be tons of great photo opportunities, so perfect time to make use of that Gimbal!
