Fabio from VALLE DEL CAUCA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hi, we are planing going to MK on september 08 These day my son turn to 3 year, so I Need know if he will have free admision on the park or need purchase the thicket for he also.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Fabio! I’m glad you’re hEAR planning your upcoming vacation. I took my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he turned three and the magic was so real for him!

The short answer is yes, your son will need a park ticket on his third birthday and always thereafter. Only children age two and under have complimentary access to the parks. You can buy advance tickets online in order to make FastPass+ reservations or at the park ticket windows. Your son may be tall enough to ride more than just the 80 attractions for preschoolers, from The Barnstormer, a perfect first roller coaster, to the Tomorrowland Speedway where with you as his passenger, your son can drive a race car! There are very helpful solutions for taking your three year old child on vacation such as Rider Switch Service, the Baby Care Center (for more than just babies!), stroller rentals from Kingdom Stroller and even grocery delivery from Garden Grocers. Don’t forget the amazing nighttime fireworks spectacular, Happily Ever After happening in Magic Kingdom after dark. My kids love to see Tinkerbell fly over the castle!

If the panel can help you answer more vacation questions, please return to ask another. We also have Spanish language portal if you’d like to use that, as well! Have a magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
