We are planing our first WDW trip in 5/9/2015. Wondering what to expect as far as weather and crowds?

    Hi Amanda:

Disney World tends to be more crowded when schools are out of session.  Since most schools are in session early May (it's after Spring Break and before finals), it's likely you will avoid heavy crowds during your stay.  While I can't guarantee the weather, it's likely that the weather in May will be glorious.   The weather in May generally is in the high 70's, sometimes higher and sometimes lower, so it may not hurt to bring a pair of long pants or a windbreaker in case the weather takes an unexpected dip.  Other than routine afternoon Florida rain showers, precipitation in May usually is light.

    Enjoy your vacation.
