Planing a family trip next year in August of 2018. I’m wondering if there is much to do with a 2 year old? Also, we have 3 older children so in terms of buying food inside the theme parks, what would I look at roughly having to pay for them and 2 adults?

    Hi Megan,

Glad you could join us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A Summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort sounds exciting. Let me help you with some tips and ideas.

There are definitely lots to do with younglings. Although it has been a long time ago for me, I do remember both my boys first time to the Resort. My older one just shy of three years of age and just before his first birthday for my younger Padawan. I want you to take a look at the awesome Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page with ideas and tips, including lists of attractions the whole family can enjoy together.

Regarding food, my family loves the Dining Plans. They are super convenient as you can add them to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package and not have to worry about having to budget. My family enjoys a Table-Service meal every night, so we opt for the Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is more economical and best if you just prefer casual meals. But for the ultimate in convenience and flexibility, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan gives three meals per day, be it Quick-Service or Table-Service.

One last tip: be sure to visit the Moms Panel Video Library, with many tips for enjoying a great time with your little ones. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
