We are planing our 1st Disney trip for November & we get to start making dinner reservations in the middle of May. Is it best to make dinner reservations 1st & plan your day around reservations or do the opposite? Thanks.

Hello, Wendy!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to hear that you are about to embark on your first ever Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You and your family must be so excited!  I am sure the countdown is on, so let's get started.

The first step I would take is to decide which park I would like to be at on a given day.  This way, I can go ahead and make dining reservations for that day and not spend the day going back and forth between parks.  If you have the Disney Park Hopper Option, you may find yourself doing this.  Check the Extra Magic Hours for each park as this can also help you with your decisions for certain park days.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
