Hi Gayle,
A Magic Kingdom visit just doesn't seem complete without watching Tinkerbell fly from the Castle to start the fireworks. Rest assured, Wishes is alive and well at the Magic Kingdom. On October 3 & 4, the park closes at 9:00 pm. Wishes is scheduled for 9:00 pm. as well, so you'll be able to enjoy show before leaving the park for the evening.
On October 1 & 2, the Magic Kingdom will close early for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a Halloween-themed special event that requires a separate ticket. During the party there is a special, HalloWishes - a fireworks show where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky. Click
HERE to find out what's included in this fun party and get information on purchasing tickets.
Even if you don't get tickets to the party, you'll still be able to view the fireworks from the beaches at the Polynesian. You may want to make dining reservations at 'Ohana that night. You can enjoy a great meal & then head down to the beach to enjoy the show.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
