We are planing coming to WDW in Dec. We have 4 day tickets, spending one day at each park. We have also purchased tickets to the Micky's Merry Xmas. Should we stay at MK all day and night? Or go to a diiferent park and just the night at MK?

    Hi Katie,

Let the Holiday countdown begin!  If you are like me, right before vacation I am positively brimming with Pixie Dust!

Katie first I want to say that there is no "wrong" way to make your MAGICAL vacation plans.  Personally my vote is to visit the theme parks on 5 different days with the tickets that you have.  I recommend using your 4-day theme park ticket to visit each of the theme parks and on an additional day use your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket to visit the Magic Kingdom again.  With your party ticket you can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 pm, thereby getting a head start on the jolly holiday fun.  Usually the day in which my family attends a ticketed Special Event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, we like to sleep in and enjoy some rest and relaxation at our Disney Resort hotel first.

However if you will only be able to visit for 4 days total, then I recommend going to the Magic Kingdom on the day you will be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  My reasoning is because the Magic Kingdom will have a posted closing time of 7:00 pm, so it is likely fewer Guests will visit it on that day.  Just be sure you are well rested and ready to stay up late celebrating the joy of the season!

Thank you for your question Katie and please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions.  We are always happy to help!

    Happy Holiday Wishes,
