Hey Howdy Hey Katie and welcome to planDisney!
2024 is full of excitement at Walt Disney World Resort and one of the huge events is the return of the
Disney Dining Plan this month! It has been a while since the Dining Plan was an option, so I will be happy to review some of the details to help you get the most out of your plan for your upcoming trip.
In most cases, when you purchase the dining plan or redeem any special offers, the dining plan will give you the designated benefits on each night of your stay. So if you are staying for 6 nights, you should get the credits for each night of your trip, unless otherwise outlined in the special offer you select. For example, if you were entitled to 1 snack per day, you should see a credit for 6 snacks. All credits do rollover to the next day however all credits do expire at midnight on the night of your checkout.
The
Dining Plan will come as credits linked to your
My Disney Experience account. When you go to purchase food or snacks the cashier at the quick service location or waiter at your table service location will ask if you have the Dining Plan. With a quick scan of your
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World card, they will have access to your credits and apply them appropriately. You can also keep track of how many credits you have on your My Disney Experience account as well as after each purchase you will see the remaining credits you have on your receipt. You can also feel free to ask any Cast Member at any Guest Relations location to look up your credits as well.
I am so happy to hear that you scored this special offer with the Dining Plan for your Magical Honeymoon vacation as there are so many great dining locations in and outside of the parks. I am sure you will have such a fantastic time in the parks but I wanted to give you a few options of things you may want to think about outside the parks as well. A trip to
Disney Springs with a meal at
The Boathouse is an amazing experience and they accept the dining plan as well. There is nothing like a fantastic meal and then a stroll through Disney Springs taking in the ambience around this gorgeous location for a romantic evening. You might also consider heading over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to visit
The Grand Floridian Spa for a nice and relaxing couples massage. Sadly no dining plans are accepted here but a very special way to celebrate your honeymoon! Either way, you have some great options to make your honeymoon extra Magical!
I always love talking about all things Disney, especially a fellow Buckeye! If you have any further questions, please feel free to stop by and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
