Hello, Melissa. I am excited to hear that you'll be staying at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort during your vacation to
Walt Disney World. It is my very favorite resort and the one I frequent the most.
I love stretching out the last day of vacation. My family and I typically drive but we still like to leave as late as possible which usually means sometime after lunch for us. We love to start off our last morning of vacation with Mickey waffles poolside at our resort. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort recently renovated its food court area,
Centertown Market, and the new menu is top notch. I actually traded out my Mickey Waffles last time I was there for their new avocado toast. Simply perfection, although I did steal a bite of my daughter's Mickey waffle for traditional purposes of course. Requesting a late check out can sometimes be hit or miss depending on how busy the resort is. It's best to give them as much notice as possible. I usually request it when checking in to the resort and I've had great luck. Usually, they are able to push it to around noon at no extra charge. If for some reason they aren't able to accommodate your request, you are able to store all of your luggage at Bell Services for the day which is complimentary to you. As a resort Guest, even on your check out day, you can still take advantage of all of the amenities at your resort but if that doesn't interest you, I suggest spending some time at Disney Springs. After a morning dip in the pool and freshening up a little in the room, we load up our car and head over for a scrumptious lunch before hitting the road. This is a great option if you have to be out of your room at the traditional check out time.
Hope this helps!
