Plane lands at 7:30am taking taxi to the hotel drop bags then head to HS. I couldn't get any FP for any popular rides at HS. Just incase I don't get FP how should I plan my day so 6 yr dd and I can ride all the popular rides? Only have 1 day at HS

Hi Mechelle, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to some of my very favorite Walt Disney World attractions, and with the recent additions of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, there's even more fun to be had!  I have a few ideas on how your family can begin your vacation on the right foot.

First, I recommend checking periodically for FastPass+ availability in the days leading up to your trip.  Other Guests' plans change all the time, and you never know when a FastPass+ reservation for a popular attraction might become available.  Sometimes I'll be able to modify my plans a month or so in advance, and other times I manage to grab a coveted FastPass+ experience the day before my visit.  You can even modify your FastPass+ experiences on the fly with the My Disney Experience mobile app.  You might be surprised by what you can find, even the day of your visit!

Second, with so many great attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios, it will be hard to squeeze them all into one day, especially since your family might be a bit weary from traveling.  I highly recommend adding the Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets.  Perhaps you might have time on another day of your vacation to pop over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for a bit to enjoy an attraction or two.  Did you know, once you redeem your initial FastPass+ experiences each day, you can make additional FastPass+ reservations (one at a time) in any park?

Lastly, I just want to share that I completely understand you want to try to do and see everything.  However, there is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort, it's impossible to do it all in one trip!  I recommend choosing a few attractions or experiences that are your top priorities, perhaps letting each family member select their first choice, and if you have time for a few more, great!  I'd hate to see you wear yourselves out on your first day.  While tons of fun, a Walt Disney World vacation can be exhausting.  Be sure to build in some downtime to rest and relax or perhaps enjoy the pool at your Disney Resort Hotel.  Besides, if there are a few things you didn't get to do this time around, that's a great reason to plan another Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.  We are always happy to help.
