Our plane lands @MCO @11:15am. We are taking the Disney shuttle and staying at the Pop Century Resort. This is the only day we have to spend at Epcot and I'm wondering what time I can reasonably expect to get there and any tricks to get there faster.

Hi Kim, I generally plan on it taking two hours to get from Orlando International Airport to any Walt Disney World resort.  Unfortunately, most of it is out of your hands, since much of the time is spent either waiting for your bus, or traveling from resort to resort once you arrive at Walt Disney World.

I do have a few suggestions, that may or may not help depending on the timing of the buses leaving.

    • Make sure you know where your plane is arriving in comparison to where the Magical Express is located.  I've made the mistake once of going to the wrong place, and it took quite a bit of time to get to the right place.
    • The ability to take an escalator saves you time in the airport.  We usually carry the stroller and have my kids walk so we don't have to wait in line for an elevator.
    • Have your Magical Express passes available in a pocket of your carry-on, so you can easily access it.
Otherwise, there really isn't too much you can do to speed up the process.

Good luck, and have a great vacation!
