Our plane is landing at 9:40pm on a Thursday. We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Any suggestions for what we could do to begin our Disney experience before going to bed and starting the busy day in the morning? We will have our 5 year old son with us.

    Hi Cari,

The countdown is ON! Your Walt Disney World trip will be here before you know it. Disney's Magical Express takes about 35 minutes or so to reach the resort hotels. If your flight is delayed and you arrive after 10:00 p.m., Disney's Magical Express requires guests to claim their luggage at baggage claim and bring it with them on the motor coach. Depending on whether the bus is ready to go and how many stops you might make, it's possible you won't arrive at Disney's Wilderness Lodge until close to 11:00 p.m. If your family is still bursting with energy from your arrival, explore the resort. You'll find so many interesting design elements throughout, including the 80 foot towering fireplace in the gorgeous lobby.

My best suggestion is to get a full night of rest as travel days are always tiring. Walt Disney World Resort requires quite a bit of walking so rest up those li'l Mouseketeer legs when you can!

Any other questions, Cari? I'm happy to help.
