Our plane doesn't land until 7:00 pm so I was wondering what you suggest we do with preschoolers the first night?

Hi Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with preschoolers in my opinion is such a fun time! I have found that they are at an age where everything is so exciting and magical to them. They also have a bit more energy and stamina than a younger kid and you will may be able to experience a bit more on this trip because of that!

Since your plane is landing later in the evening, once you arrive to your Resort hotel and get checked in, I would recommend grabbing some food from your Resort hotels food court and head towards the pool! I can’t think of a better way to start out a vacation than with some delicious feel good food and a night of splashing around in the pool. You may even be able to catch some of the “movie under the stars” that is offered nightly at the Resort hotels. Movies change nightly and you may find some of your family favorites offered throughout your trip!

After your preschooler gets rid of some of that energy that they have built up from being on the plane, make it an early night so that in the morning you can get up and experience all of the magic that the Theme Parks have to offer!

I hope that you have a magical time!
