Plane arrives at 10.30pm. I was told we can still use ME from airport , just have to retrieve our bags. I'm worried about the wait time for a bus that late. I know in the past we didn't wait long for our bus to fill and leave but we always arrive in a.m.

Hi Meredyth!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  My flight to Walt Disney World arrvied at exactly 10:30 p.m. last week so I've been in your shoes.

I only packed a carryon bag, since I was going for a quick trip, so after I deboarded the airplane I went straight to the Magical Express.  The bus was waiting when I got to the area and had another family on board.  I happened to ask how long they had been waiting and at that point only about 10 mintues.  After about 20 minutes of waiting on the bus, other people were starting to board as well.  I recognized the people getting on the bus from my flight who must have had to collect their own luggage.  After about 25-30 mintues of waiting for everyone to board the bus, we were on our way to Walt Disney World.  Our bus stopped at 3 resorts along the way to drop off Guests.  The bus ride from the airport to my resort took about 45 mintues because I was the 3rd stop.  The whole process once getting on board the Magical Express was just a little over an hour and then I was checking in to my resort.  I did notice that there were several other Magical Express buses waiting as well, so I would think the process and times would be very similar to the other resorts at that time of night.

My expereince arriving that late at night was a great one and I hope it is for you too.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
