If our plane arrives at 9am but we can't check in until 3pm, can we go to the park? If so what can we do with our luggage?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brandy!

My family and I always choose the earliest flight time for our arrival into Orlando, because we want to make the most of even our very first day at Walt Disney World, so I'm glad to hear you're flying in early too!

If you have luggage with you when you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort and your room is not ready yet, no worries! This happens to us almost every time, however, we've been surprised a few times and our room was ready early so we were able to quickly drop our bags and head right to the parks. But, when our room wasn't ready yet, we simply left our bags at Bell Services at the resort. They tagged them all and gave us a receipt so we could easily pick them up later. Then, we hopped on the bus or monorail off to the parks for the day. Once we returned back to the resort, we could either pick up the bags ourselves, or call from our room to have them delivered. It's traditional to tip a few dollars to the Cast Members for holding the bags while we're gone, so we always are sure to have some cash on us when we pick up or have the bags delivered.

The same goes for the day you check out. If you plan to head to the parks that day too, simply pack up, check out and leave your bags at Bell Services while you enjoy the parks, then pick up your bags when you return to catch your Magical Express back to the airport. Easy as can be!

So, you can easily head straight to the parks from your resort when you arrive that morning, Brandy. You'll want to squeeze in as much magic as you can! Have fun planning and enjoy a really special vacation!
