Hello Jack,
May I begin by wishing you a very warm welcome to planDisney where as the current UK Panelist, it gives me great pleasure to offer some assistance with your future plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
Having a 2022 jolly Disney holiday to look forward to is such a delight and certainly will give you plenty of time to plan a trip that is sure to be practically perfect in every way!
My family loves taking a ride on the
Walt Disney Monorail System, in fact for us it's almost an Attraction in itself! I'm happy to share that usually the nearest point Guests can hop on a monorail to the
Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Art of Animation Resort would be at the main entrance to
Epcot. However please bear in mind that at present the
Epcot Monorail isn't currently operational. This means that right now in January 2021 the next nearest point of monorail access is on the
Express Monorail which serves the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Ticket and Transportation Hub.
My top suggestion for ease of
transportation from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park would be to utilise the complimentary Guest benefit of the
Walt Disney World Bus Service which operates from 45 minutes prior to Park opening times and around 45 minutes after Park closing times.
Jack, you've made a super choice by opting to stay at the larger than life themed
Disney's Art of Animation Resort which I'm so pleased to share is connected to Disney's newest mode of transport the
Disney Skyliner. This fantastic aerial transportation system of brightly coloured and Disney themed gondolas connects Guests effortlessly from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Rivera Resort to both
Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot's International Gateway.
Please do pop back if you have any further questions about your 2022 holiday plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you a great Disney day ~ Jane
