Hi Julie,
Welcome to planDisney! We are excited to help you with your vacation plans for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Your upcoming stay at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is sure to be Magical! The rustic and peaceful environment is sure to provide a well-deserved break from the theme parks at the end of each day. Julie, this Resort is quite large and therefore you will be happy to know that there is a dedicated internal bus system which makes stops along the main roads. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are located in "loops" along the main roads, so it is a short walk from each drop off/pick up point. If you choose to, you can board one of these internal buses with your luggage and take your luggage to your cabin yourself. However, you will also be happy to know that
Bell Services can transport your luggage to your cabin if you desire. I do want to mention that gratuities are not included with this service.
Julie since your cabin is equipped with a kitchen, often Guests like to pre-order groceries and then pick them up at
Meadow Trading Post after arrival. In addition to groceries, you can also
rent a golf cart for your stay if you like. If you decide to order groceries, you can do that at least 3 business days prior to your check in. If you decide to rent a golf cart, I highly recommend making that reservation as soon as possible, up to one year in advance, to ensure they won't all be rented by the time of your visit.
Have a Magical holiday! Please be sure to come back and ask all of your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions right here at planDisney.
See Ya Real Soon,
