Hello, Emily! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your important questions. I am happy to answer them for you.
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is accessible to all Guests. There are paved pathways throughout the main promenade and ramped accessible pathways to the beach. A limited number of sand wheelchairs are available at the Family Beach Tram Stop on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.
If you or someone in your travel party is unable to walk along the pier, you can visit Guest Services once onboard for available options. I suggest doing this early in your cruise. There are accessible restrooms at Mabrika Cove and Goombay Cultural Center and additional locations near restaurants and stores. There are two wheelchair accessible Cabanas located on the Family Beach and two located on Serenity Bay. In addition, the tram on Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Pointe is accessible for wheelchairs and scooters.
Disney Parks Blog published a great map for you to familiarize yourself with the area.
The
Request Special Services form is available to help ensure medical needs are met. All requests should be submitted up to 3 days before embarkation. It is not guaranteed that all requests will be honored, but Disney Cruise Line does its best to accommodate Guests.
Emily, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers. I hope you have a cruise planned that visits Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Pointe really soon.
Adventure is out there!
