Hi planDisney pals! I am looking to purchase my first ever annual pass this April 20th, when sales resume *pause for happy dance*. I was wondering…do you know if sales are to begin at midnight on the 20th or at 6am (like dining reservations)? Thank you!

    Bonjour Fernanda,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us a great question, my fellow Quebecker! It’s lovely to meet you!

Like you, I TOTALLY did a happy dance when I heard that Walt Disney World Annual Passes would resume sales later this month. Although I kept my Annual Pass active for the past few years, my husband and son did now… and boy would they pout when I would remind them that they were no longer Annual Passholders!

We still don’t know exactly what time sales will begin on April 20th. That said, I’m a Disney Vacation Club member, and I’ve seen communications go by saying that Annual Passes won’t go on sale “before 6 am” on our dedicated on-sale date on April 13th. This means that it’s highly likely that the “general public” sales a week later will also open at 6 am and not at midnight. Because this information is subject to change at any time, please keep an eye on publications like the Disney Parks Blog. That’s where you’ll find the most current information about Annual Pass sales and other promotions and Special Offers for your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope my answer helps you become a Passholder in two short weeks! As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
