Hey there, hi there, Laura! Welcome back to planDisney. It's so exciting to see you are getting a headstart on planning for your trip this fall. As a mom of three, I remember how it can be with toddlers! Mine were snack-obsessed and that was always a priority to make sure we had plenty for the trip.
Since your trip is a few months out and
food and snacks can rotate quite frequently, I can't be certain and tell you what will be available then. I know that currently, it seems like mandarin oranges have been replaced by the apple packs in the Kids' Disney Check Meals and Kids' Meals. Although that could certainly change again. I've seen plenty of locations carry whole fruit, including apples. It never hurts to ask a Cast Member if they can cut an apple for you or direct you to a quick-service location that may have utensils for you to do it yourself.
I've recently seen strawberries over at
Tropical Imports, just across from Jungle Cruise, but again this could definitely change. I do know that there are plenty of places that offer fresh fruit and healthy snack options and I'd be happy to share the ones I can think of with you so you can have them handy to check out once you are in the parks.
In Disneyland Park:
-Fantasyland Fruit Cart
-Tomorrowland Fruit Cart
-Main Street Fruit Cart
-Critter Country Fruit Cart
-Tropical Imports
-Ship to Shore Marketplace
In Disney California Adventure Park:
-Fillmore's Taste-In
-Schmoozies!
-Fairfax Market
-Pacific Wharf Café
-Mortimers Market
Depending on where you are staying, you may also be able to do a delivery order from a nearby store to stock up on these items to avoid meltdowns if the parks aren't offering these particular fruits.
Laura, I hope this information is helpful. Please come back and visit us again as you continue to plan your upcoming visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
