Welcome back to planDisney, Danielle! I'm so glad to answer another question about the big exciting trip that you've got coming up next week. You're going to love experiencing the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and there are so many things for your students to see and do. I'm happy to walk you through the activities and attractions that are included with your ticket!
This festival is a celebration of arts in all forms: performing arts, visual arts, culinary arts, and more so each of your students will find something unique to enjoy. Musical performances are happening daily in World Showcase Plaza, including some unique instruments like the didgeridoo. Each Saturday through Wednesday, there are also acrobatic performances in World Showcase Plaza that are not to be missed! In the evenings, you and your students can also catch the
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series which has three nightly performances at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00.
If visual arts are more what you're looking for, you'll definitely want to see the
live painting demonstrations, or you can try your hand at drawing your own Disney Character at the Animation Academy, which takes place in the America Gardens Theatre each day from 12:30 to 1:30. Your students can also leave their mark on a collaborative art project at the Expression Section: A Paint By Numbers Mural. There's also unbelievable chalk art located along the bridge to World Showcase Plaza if you want to learn about art in a unique medium!
Thanks for swinging by today, Danielle, and I hope that I gave you some creative ideas to put the "A" in STEAM for your students next week!
