Hi Rachel!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!
Oh Boy! Rachel your visit to Mickey's house is so soon! I know you must be getting excited. At this current time, I'm not seeing anything listed on the
Entertainment Calendar for the week of your visit, which is a bit odd. I know that
fireworks in
Disneyland Park have been happening, however this time of yEAR they are only on the weekends. The current nighttime show is
Mickey's Mix Magic, and it's not to be missed. It truly is a super dancy remix of some of your favorite songs from Disney movies over the decades, and I actually like some of these remixes more than the originals. It's a projection show that can be seen in multiple locations around the park (in Frontierland, on the facade of "it's a small world", and on Sleeping Beauty Castle) but in my opinion, the best location is in the middle of Main Street U.S.A. Fireworks are added in on the weekends, but I honestly like it better mid-week without because it's a little less crowded which means there's more room to dance!
It seems like either the schedule for all of March hasn't been released yet, or it's only being released a few weeks in advance. I can say that
most of the entertainment options are still paused, like
World of Color and
Fantasmic! However, some of the most favorite options were teased in the
Disney Parks Blog as "returning this spring," so check back with the
entertainment calendar in a few days, and also check back with the calendar when you arrive - Mickey loves a good surprise so you never know what you'll find!
I can share that your visit is perfectly timed with the kick-off of the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, or better yet, follow the
official planDisney Instagram account as both will sound the alarm when the festival marketplace menus are released.
I know this didn't provide the exact answers you were sEARching for, Rachel, but I hope that it provided a solid starting place. We can't wait to see you real soon, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions for us, We're All Ears!
