Hi Andrew and welcome back to planDisney!
I am so excited to see all of the spooky treats that will be at this year's
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do and there is no shortage of delicious options around the theme parks and at the
Disney Resort hotels. My mouth is watering just looking at all of the party offerings posted by the Disney Parks Blog earlier this week!
We always carry Ziploc bags in various sizes in our theme park bag just in case we have leftovers from a meal or would like to take some snacks back to our Disney Resort hotel from the parks. Depending on what you're transporting, you might need something a little more sturdy than a plastic bag, so I would suggest bringing food safe containers for things like cupcakes or other sweet treats. It can also still be warm and humid in September, so if you would like, bring a soft-sided cooling bag with you so you don't end up with cupcake soup by the time you get back to your room. Some locations will have a cardboard to-go box if you ask, so that is another option for you so you don't have to carry anything in with you.
Looking at the
Foodie Guide to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I'm most excited to visit Sleepy Hollow for those Char Siu Chicken Wings and the Cinnamon Funnel Cake. I also love a flavored churro, so I'll be stopping by the Churro Cart for a Not-So-Poison Apple Churro. I'm going to have to wear my stretchy pants when we visit in a couple of months!
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a spooktacular day!
Leslie
