Hello planDisney! My family will be visiting this summer and we would like to try some unique Disney experiences during our three non-park days. Two aduts and two kids (girl-11 and boy-13). What would you recommend? Thank you!

Hello Angela and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!

I'm so happy to hEar you and your delightful family already have their plans all set to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort this coming summer.   And oh boy! I can just imagine how super excited your darling daughter and son must be feeling about this upcoming trip and all the fun you're sure to enjoy together as a family.

You've made a great choice by opting to include some non-park days to your schedule as there's truly so much to experience at Walt Disney World Resort outside of the 4 Theme Parks and 2 Water Parks.  With that in mind and here just for your family, are my top 3 suggestions for non-park entertainment -

    - Trot along to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground where your whole family can saddle up and head out into the wilderness by going Horseback Riding.  This fun activity is suitable for all abilities and has always been beloved by my teenagers!

    - Soar high above Disney Springs and take in all the stunning vistas with Aerophile - The World Leader in Balloon Flight.  This extra magical experience gives Guests a true 360° birds eye view from approximately 400 feet up in the sky!

    - Test your golf putting skills with a round of miniature golf at either Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf or Winter Summerland Miniature Golf which are both set to re-open on 31st January 2021.

As food and enjoying good times together have always played a big part of my own family trips to Disney, I also wanted to give an honourable mention to AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatres.  My whole family absolutely loved the relaxing experience of enjoying delicious menu items such as loaded bacon nachos or mega milkshakes whilst being entertained by the latest blockbuster movie.

Angela, I'm quite sure that whatever enchanted experience your dear family finally decides upon you'll enjoy making some unforgettable memories together at Walt Disney World Resort.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
