Welcome to planDisney Andrew. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
I too am old school, from the grey hairs on my head to the vintage park gear a wear when I visit. One of the main reasons I visit these parks is for that nostalgic feeling. A lot more people feel the same way and are sharing the magic of the
Walt Disney Resort with their own families now that they are adults. Part of the nostalgia for me is taking the time to sit and people-watch, or walk around one of your favorite shops going in between this or that souvenir. I still get those experiences because of
Disney’s Genie+ Service. Some of the more popular attractions and experiences have longer waits which take up a lot of time. When you plan your
Lightning Lane for those attractions, head to that particular land and grab a snack, take a bathroom break, or go see a character while you wait for that arrival window. This is my favorite reason, the freedom of spending time enjoying the park instead of waiting in line.
I take pride in being able to schedule a Lightning Lane and jump on one other shorter wait attraction or experience before the window expires. As an example, you could have a Lightning Lane for
Space Mountain, and grab a churro from
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies. While you are chomping down on your snack you can check to see what kind of wait there is on the
Astro Orbiter or the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. If the waits are too long and would run into your Lightning Lane just hang back and ride afterwards. This is a very productive plan because inside close to an hour you can enjoy 3 different parts of Tomorrowland.
I hope you start to use this great service. I make sure each visit I use to get the most magic out of my day. If you have any other planning questions visit us again at

Have a magical day,
