Welcome back to planDisney, Andrea! I’m glad you find our advice helpful!
An evening at
Palo sounds like a lovely way to start your Disney Cruise! There is a four-course prix fixe menu, but you can also choose to dine à la carte. During a recent visit, my husband and I shared a pizza to start, and then we enjoyed our own entrées and skipped dessert. Your server will be happy to provide recommendations to suit your appetite.
On embarkation day, Palo also offers Prima Notte, an event featuring a curated selection of bite-sized delicacies paired with Italian wines. This event is part of the beverage tastings under Onboard Fun and is typically available at two set times, with a prix fixe menu. Depending on your dining time, you can enjoy the small bites at Palo and then head to your rotational dining restaurant for dessert!
Andrea, on the first night of your
Very Merrytime Cruise, I recommend gathering around the three-deck tall Christmas tree in the atrium to celebrate the season with Mickey and his pals. The tree lighting ceremony typically takes place between the two dinner times. If the main floor gets crowded, head to Deck 5 for a bird’s-eye view of the event. It's a great way to enjoy the magic from above!
I hope your cruise is filled with merry memories! Please stop by anytime if you need more tips or assistance.
SEAS the adventure!
