We plan on going to WDW this spring, my husband is 6'5"and weighs 370lbs. I'd like to save him the embarrassment of being too big to get on rides. Is there any rides he wont fit on?

Hi Gina! Your concern is one that many guests voice and make them hesitate to plan a Walt Disney World vacation. There will indeed be some attractions that would be uncomfortable to enjoy in the parks. It is always best to take the time to look at the ride vehicles before standing in the queue lines. Your judgement from knowing yourself will be the best answer.

You can also check out some excellent information about this subject at allears.net under the topic of WDW At Large. They will describe the various types of seating and vehicles and what you need to look at when deciding if it is something you wish to experience. You can also read each attraction's Description which will help you realize if it is a roller coaster type or a show type.

From personal experience the rides that will give him the most trouble will be those that fly into the sky such as Star Jets, Magic Carpets, and Dumbo. Other attractions that require a fitted seat such as Star Tours and Soarin would be best to talk with the cast member before standing in the lines as they will assist you. You can also stop by each park's Guest Relations and discuss the attractions that you might enjoy experiencing to see if they feel there will be any difficulties. There will be many things you both can enjoy together during your wonderful Disney vacation!
