I plan to be at WDW for the firest week of December and read in one of the answers that that's the week they film the Christmas parade for TV. Is there some way for me to find out when it will be? I'll be staying at my home resort SSR. Lov it ;)

While it is true that the Christmas parade is usually filmed in early December, Walter, the powers that be don't necessarily advertise that date.  And definitely not this far out.  As the event gets closer, some diligent detective work via Google and the like might help you to pin down a fairly definitive answer, but if I were you, I wouldn't hold out hope that Disney will officially confirm or deny.  If you have your heart set on seeing it, I would recommend making sure to wear festive holiday colors and bring along one of those cute Mickey ear Santa hats.  Oh, and be prepared for a long day!  Good luck!
