    Plan on visiting 9/12-9/18 with 7 year old daughter and my mom. Were there in 2011 and ate at California Grill. Debating this year on Narcoosees. Love seafood but have read Narcooses can be loud. Which would you prefer and how much time should you expect

    Hello Patrice!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

    September is a great time to visit Walt Disney World, it will be hot and humid, but crowds are at their best.  Ponchos and water shoes are really useful during rainy season.

    Narcoossee´s and California Grill are two awesome restaurants close to the Magic Kingdom.  Both are Signature restaurants featuring plenty of seafood dishes and other creative dishes.  Magic Kingdom Wishes nighttime spectacular can be viewed from these two restaurants, but California Grill does feature a more magical view.

    Regarding food presentation and flavor California Grill is superior in all ways, but this is my family´s taste.  Narcoossee´s does feature lobster tail and California Grill perfect sushi.

    Both restaurants can be noisy at times, and Narcoossee´s does feel a bit darker.

    These restaurants also feature excellent transportation from the Magic Kingdom - and back.  The Monorail or a boat can be used for either restaurant.  During your September visit you should have 15 to 20 minute travel times.  My kids love Narcoossee´s location and boat ride, as you dock directly into the restaurant.

    Still, to California Grill guests can enjoy a short (10 to 15 minutes tops) and pleasant walk.  For my family this is a time saving and crowd free activity.
    California Grill will also be offering a new look and menu by the end of summer 2013 - expected to reopen on August 2013.

    Try to make your reservation at either of these restaurants so that you can all enjoy Wishes as the dining experience ends.
