    Hello. I plan on visiting with our 4 month old. Would she be able to ride with me on the rides that don't have a height requirement?

    Hi Lucia!

    Many of the Disneyland and California Adventure "thrill" type attractions will have height requirements attached to them. But that doesn't mean you can't take the younger children to the parks and not have a great time. My favorite park to visit with the youngest of the grandchildren is the Disneyland Park. Fantasyland is my favorite place to be and I love watching the reactions from the youngest one on. My grandson went on his first Disney trip at the age of 3 months and although he won't remember anything about it we all have the pictures to share with him later in his life. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything!

    There will be many Disneyland Park and California Adventure attractions which you will be able to take your infant on with you. You will want to stay away from anything that is fast or jerky and possibly anything that is dark or has loud noises. Astro Orbiter would not be my choice as well as Haunted Mansion but there are so many more things to enjoy that the list can still be quite long.

    If you are traveling with another adult you will also want to consider the Rider Switch option. This allows the members of your party to all enjoy a special attraction that the infant can not experience. The first adult will ride the ride while the other adult stays with the baby. Then with a Rider Switch "ticket" you will get from the cast member the second adult will now go and ride without having to wait in line again. So when you start your planning remember that you can practically enjoy everything even when traveling with an infant!
