I plan on visiting on the 16th and want to give the one day memory maker pass as a gift for someone in the party. Will I be able to purchase it and give it to them. Also will they have access to the photos after the 5am limit.

Welcome to planDisney, Scott! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. How kind of you to want to gift Memory Maker to your friend this weekend! There are two ways to do this, and I'm happy to walk you through it.

If you purchase Memory Maker through your My Disney Experience account, you can reassign it to someone else through the app if you are connected through the "Family & Friends" list. All you need to do is locate Memory Maker in "My Reservations" in My Disney Experience and select the link to reassign it. You can also purchase a Disney Gift Card as a gift and give it to someone so they can use it to purchase Memory Maker. Digital gift cards are available, and I prefer this method for gifts since they are the easiest to send and use.

Memory Maker One Day is available to be used from 6:00 AM on the morning you activate it until 5:59 AM the next day. This is the timeframe in which you can take photos, but they will remain available for 45 days after they're taken, so you can peruse and download them at your leisure during that period.

I hope this answers your question, Scott, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
