Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leslie!
The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort is such a fun and enchanting experience for children to enjoy. My daughter very recently had a magical makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, so I’d be happy to fill you in on the details. We brought along our own princess dress and when we checked in, I simply informed the Cast Member of this. They will mark it down that you have a princess requiring a change and when your Fairy Godmother-in-training is ready for you, your child will be escorted directly to a dressing room to change. To my knowledge, there aren’t any rules about what type of dress you can bring, as long as it adheres to the proper attire guidelines outlined in the
Park Rules. You can bring a dress purchased at a Disney Store at home, from a third-party vendor, or even one that you made yourself. Bring along whatever your little one will be comfortable wearing!
For the hair and makeup portion of the transformation, there are a few things to keep in mind. You will want to ensure that your daughter’s fingernails are clean and free from any other polish. Hair should also be clean and combed so the Fairy Godmother-in-training can work her magic. As a special little gift, you will get to keep the nail polish, comb, and the makeup palette they use during the makeover. We use ours to keep the magic going at home with special princess makeovers during playtime.
I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of sparkles and smiles!
