I plan on visiting Disney World in September and saw that the waterparks will be closed when I'm there. Will the pools at the resorts be open?

    Hi Holly,

I think you must be mistaken about the water park closures. I've checked around and can't find any evidence that the water parks will be closed then. Perhaps you're confused because the park calendars have not yet been posted. None of the theme park calendars have been posted yet for September either. You can expect that this will happen in early June.

Typically, both the water parks are open in September. The weather in FL is still HOT then. The water parks do take turns closing for a few weeks in true winter, but I have never seen them both down at the same time.

Also, the pools at the WDW hotels are open year round. I have often seen people swimming in them in January when it was 50 degrees out.

You won't have any trouble finding a place to enjoy the water while you're at WDW!
