We plan on visiting disney next month with our 1 year old and 11 year old! Do all the rides have a child swap? Also, is it possible to go on the ride twice during the swap so he can go with both my husband and I while the other stays with the baby?

    Hi-ya Jenn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pal! Thank you for sharing your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning with us. We are happy to hEAR from you!

Disney's Rider Switch Service is awesome. We too have quite a large age gap between our kiddos and it was invaluable at making sure we both could ride the bigger attractions with our oldest. It' is available on most of the thrill rides or those with a height requirement. (For the full list check out the link above.) You all will need to go to the front of the attraction line and request a Rider Switch Pass from the Cast Member there. Then your oldest and one adult can go ride the ride while the other waits with the baby and when they return, you switch. The Rider Switch Pass allows two guests to return, so the other adult can go and take your oldest a second time! It works out wonderfully!

Have an incredible trip, Jenn, and if there is anything else we can help you with please stop back by and send us your question!

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
