Hello, Analicia!
Welcome to planDisney. I am so excited that your son gets to visit
Disney California Adventure Park soon! Our family loves Pixar, and we like wandering through
Pixar Pier to meet Disney Characters, take a spin on Toy Story Midway Mania!, and grab a treat from Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums. My kids also love playing the classic carnival
Games of Pixar Pier. Racing cars on
Radiator Springs Racers in
Cars Land is another "must-do" for our family!
I can understand wanting to maximize your time if you are only spending one day at Disneyland Resort! You can find dates for Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Pary on the
Oogie Boogie Bash website. Scroll down until you see "Halloween Fun For the Whole Family." Underneath, you can select a month to see the party dates. In October, it generally takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
You may want to consider spending a night at
Pixar Place Hotel! This newly reimagined hotel is the first and only hotel in the world to celebrate the films of Pixar Animation Studios. The rooms are full of Pixar details, and you never know who you might run into while strolling through the lobby (such as Bing Bong and Joe Gardner)! You can also dine in the hotel at
Great Maple Modern American Eatery, even if not staying there. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland app or the Disneyland website.
Speaking of the
Disneyland app, I suggest downloading it before your visit. It has many helpful tools, including park maps, wait times, and
mobile order options. You can also use the app to enter the theme parks. Guests need both a valid theme park ticket and park reservations to enter a theme park. Many Guests enjoy visiting Disneyland during
Halloween Time, and sometimes park reservations become unavailable. I recommend
purchasing your tickets and making park reservations as soon as possible.
Analicia, I hope you have a spooktacular visit to Disneyland Resort! Do not hesitate to
reach out to me if you have other questions!
Seasons Screamings!
