Hiya Anaisa!
Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite Resorts to visit during the holidays! The giant Christmas tree in the lobby is almost 6 stories tall and exquisite. The ornaments are unique to the theme of this Resort and it is a perfect backdrop for photos!
Holiday decorations for all Resorts and Parks will start to appear as soon as the Halloween festivities are finished. This year,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party wraps up the spooky season on November 1, 2023. You will then see through the power of Disney magic that everything begins to transform very quickly. Most likely within a few days, the entire Walt Disney World Resort will be transformed including Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I don't know when the Halloween officially ends next year but there is a very good chance that by the time you arrive on November 12 - regardless of the year- Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be well into the Christmas spirit. The evergreen wreaths and garland will welcome you with twinkling lights and rustic charm.
We have yet to begin the holiday season this year but if you are planning make sure to get tickets to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Most likely tickets will become available around September 2024 but make sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for updates and announcements. It is a "can't-miss" event and if you enjoy the holidays you will absolutely love this party. I consider Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to be one of the best parades but I do have a fondness for dancing toy soldiers and Santa Claus. After Mickey Mouse, he's my favorite person in white gloves and cheery charm!
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to
let me know!
Happy Planning!
