    I plan to visit the week of October 16, 2023…how do I know which day during the week to book a reservation for the magic kingdom if I want to attend on a day that they are NOT doing the Halloween party?

    Hello Cathy, and welcome to planDisney.

    It's simply spooktacular to hear you're planning a future visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort during the week of October 16th, 2023!  And with some 15 months to plan your Disney vacation, I just know that it's going to be practically perfect in every way.

    Cathy, I'm more than happy to share that when looking back over past years, the Disney Parks Blog has typically announced the scheduled dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party sometime during the late-Spring. 

    For example, the scheduled dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2022 were released in this past Disney Parks Blog article on April 28th, 2022.  Cathy, it might also be useful for you to know that dates for the 2022 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, range from August 12th right through until October 31st.

    Additionally, it's always possible to take a peek at upcoming Disney Theme Park schedules (including operating hours, events, and so on) via the Disney Parks Calendar.
