    Hi, Plan to visit the 1st week of Dec. Want to devote one entire day to resort hop & see the decorations at as many resorts as possible. Please give some suggestions or a plan to see as many of the best decorated resorts? No meals, just sightseeing.

    Hello Karen.  The resort decorations at Walt Disney World are an attraction unto themselves, so I can understand why you would want to take a break from the theme parks to just enjoy the ambiance of Christmas!  My suggestion for seeing several resorts in the easiest way is a two part plan.  I see from your other questions you will be staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge - I think you'll really enjoy the homey decorations you find there!  Head over to the Magic Kingdom and catch the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  After viewing their Christmas decor, you can then monorail-hop to Disney's Polynesian Resort and then on to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  Take the monorail from the Grand Floridian back to the Magic Kingdom where you can then catch a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort.  From there you can visit Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Boardwalk Resort. This will give you the opportunity to visit 7 resorts, if you include the one you are staying at, and since these are all Deluxe resorts they will have some of the most elaborate decorations including the famous gingerbread houses! There will also be quick service restaurants at each, for you to grab a drink or quick bite to eat while you are touring.
