We plan to visit Walt Disney World in august 2027 and I have tried to research about the different costumes and clothing allowed into Disney's water parks but to no luck. Are children allowed to wear plain t-shirts in the pools and slides?

Hi there Lee, and a warm welcome to planDisney. It won't be long until you're making a splash at Disney's Water Parks, so let's dive right into your question!

My family loves taking to the high seas at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon on our trips, so I'm delighted to help with this question. Last year, my daughter conquered Summit Plummet for the first time, and can’t wait to go back and do it all over again!

I like to make sure my family are prepared for a fun-filled day at the Water Parks, and this includes a secure swimsuit for plunging down Crush 'N' Gusher, and adventuring through Ketchakiddee Creek! I've spoken with a Cast Member, who confirmed that your children are welcome to wear a T-shirt with their swimsuits. Just make sure there are no buckles, rivets, zippers, or exposed metal, for safety reasons. You can read all about the Dress Code in the Know Before You Go section of this webpage.

Top Tip: Stop by the Cooling Hut for a Mickey Ice Cream Bar to refuel between slides!

Whether you're a thrill seeker or prefer the pace of Cross Country Creek lazy river, there are attractions to suit everyone at Disney's Water Parks, Lee! I hope you have the most wonderful visit in August.

If you have any more questions, stop by and see me anytime at planDisney.

Sending faith, trust, and pixie dust,

    Abi
