We plan to visit in the spring traveling with grandchildren. My grandson has mild cerabal palsy and his legs get quite tired on long walks. He is in 2nd grade. Will the strollers available for tots accomadate a tired older child as well?

The Disney strollers are not cheap or plush, but they are quite large and sturdy. If you look on the right hand side of the Moms Panel home page, you'll see a button that says "Watch Our Vacation Tips." If you click on this, toward the end of the video you will see some brief footage of the strollers in action. I know that my average-sized 8 1/2 year old daughters would still fit in these strollers. Unless your grandson is exceptionally large, he would very likely be able to use the Disney strollers.

I think that in addition to long walks, your son could possibly have issues with standing in line waiting for rides. If you think this is the case, you might want to stop by the guest services office at one of the theme parks at the beginning of your trip to see if any arrangements can be made to help you deal with this. Hope this helps.
