I plan to visit all parks during my July vacation. Any idea how much time I should alott for each park in order to stop at every attraction, ie. can I visit everything in each park in one day or is two days needed, from park open to close

    Hi Tracheta,

Wow!  You are ambitious!  One of of the things my family loves about Disney vacations is that no matter how many times you visit, there is always something new to experience and see.  On our first few trips, we made the mistake of trying to see "everything."  Don't get me wrong, we had a blast, but came home utterly exhausted.  Now, before we go, we spend time on planning a "wish list" of attractions, dining venues and entertainment that we would like to see, and create an itinerary that incorporates some of every family member's top picks.  I would definitely recommend thinking about what things are on your "must see", "would like to see" and "maybe, if there's time" lists. If you are up for a challenge, and wanted to see all of major attractions in each of the four theme parks, I would allow (at a minimum, assuming average crowds and operating hours) for the following times:
    • 2 days for the Magic Kingdom
    • 2 1/2 days for Epcot
    • 1  day at Animal Kingdom
    • 1 1/2 days at Hollywood Studios

Some tips for seeing more in a shorter time period include making use of Extra Morning and Evening Magic Hours if you are staying on property, using Fast Pass wherever it is available and/or the "single-rider" option on some of the major attractions.  Finally, if there are two lines heading toward a particular attraction, most say that the left one, offers a shorter wait, as most people naturally head toward the right.  Let me know if it works!

I hope you have a magical trip!
